Our mission is to provide fund raising proposals to lodge members, provide communications about each of the fund raisers to members and the community at large, to propose methodologies to achieve goals set by the committe and the lodge and to recommend funding charitable functions that fall within our purview. Lowell Lodge #436 has began a new path in fund-raising. In 2010 we started 3 annual fund raisers that have produced more than $3000 of funds for our Masonic charities. Our charities to date are: Lowell (LAMB) Food Bank, Scholarship for a Fort Frye High School senior continuing his or her education; Special Olympics; assisting our brothers and sisters in need; providing widows with a Kroger or other food store gift card at Christmas; helping community members when need is established; providing Masonic funerals as necessary; contributing to other lodges when need arises; hosting a Christmas party for children; providing a Pork Roast for lodge members and the community; many, many others too numerous to mention as they may arise. The three newer fund-raisers inlude: ATV Fun Run at the Pioneer Motorcyle Club the fourth weekend in September Masonic T-Shirt Sales begining in April during regular meeting. Both regular T shirts and pocket Ts will be available. Navy blue with with white square, compasses and "G" on breast Money Saver Coupon Books (Marietta & Parkersburg/Vienna Areas) beginning in July for Marietta and August for Parkersburg/Vienna. Our Goal for 2012 is to improve these totals to more than $5000 by possibly adding some of the following: Skeet Shoot; Turkey Shoot; Catfish Tournament Other ideas will be accepted by any of the lodge officers for this year.
